Casting Your Cares

We all have worries about things, and some have them worse than others. 1 Peter 5:7 says to cast all of your worries on Him because He cares for you. When we ask Him to help us with our worries, He does so willingly if we believe that He will. He knows everything about us. He knows what’s best for us and will always choose the options that are in our best interests.

The Bible never told us to worry about anything. Worry will only weaken our relationship with God because it shows that we do not trust Him enough to cast our anxieties on Him. Jesus has already overcome the world so there is nothing to fear. Good and evil cannot coexist together, so peace and anxiety cannot either. Nothing good comes from worrying.

We have nothing to fear because God will take care of our worries. His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). God has deep compassion for us and will always wait for us to cast our anxieties on Him because He loves us.
