God’s Faithfulness

This year has been a tough year and the Coronavirus has done a lot of damage to this world. Through all of this chaos, God is still there and He still cares. He doesn’t look down on us with disappointment because we cannot fix our own problems. He is calling out to us and is waiting for us to accept His support. Matthew 11:28 says, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” God loves us, and he loved us so much that he sent his one and only Son to die for our sins so that we could live with Him in Heaven for the rest of eternity. You might wonder why God allows sin and does not do anything about it. It’s because He has given us free will, which gives us the ability to make our own decisions. I want to tell you the story of my transformation.

I was born with seizures and was jealous of others who didn’t have any physical handicaps. That jealousy turned to hate and I was bitter towards some people who mistreated me. I was very happy when I was adopted into a family. I had a significantly larger amount of freedom. I got to experience what it was like to have a family of my own.

When things had settled down, my parents wanted to find a way to get rid of my seizures. When they figured out that I could have surgery to fix my seizures, they asked me if I wanted to do it and told me that I could die in the process. I was afraid but I wanted to be healed so I decided to do it. I doubted that my seizures would go away. When my surgery was finished I noticed that I had much more control over my seizures. I couldn’t sleep in the hospital, but soon after, I was able to go home and get good sleep. Through that experience, I learned that people cared for me on a much deeper level than I had imagined. I did not know who God was but He still healed me. When I learned who God was, I also learned that even with the tiniest amount of faith in Him, anything is possible.

At one point in my life I didn’t know what I wanted to do with it, and I asked God to show me what He had in store for me. He wanted me to encourage people and share my faith with others. During covid-19, my friend @graceqing wanted to do Instagram Live, and we talked about books of the bible and did song breakdowns. I loved doing it and I was very passionate about it. When things were settling down, I helped lead our youth group with @graceqing, @joyzjournal, and my sister Mia. God gave me the courage to talk about my own faith in front of my family. God will never give up on you even when everything seems hopeless. When you ask God to help you, God will be fighting your battles. To Him, you are His most valuable creation. God has brought us to this earth to glorify Him. @for King & COUNTRY once said in their song: ” I see you dressed in white, every wrong made right, at the sight of you oh, so priceless”. That’s exactly what God is telling you, he sees you as a diamond that is shining brighter than ever! He sees you dressed in white because of what his son Jesus did! We are to be imagers of Christ.

God has loved you even before you were born and He will continuously love you for the rest of eternity. God will never leave you nor forsake you. He knows what’s going to happen and He will help us get through this Coronavirus struggle. If you have lost a relative or a friend during this struggle, God is mourning right beside you. Some of you might think that life is not worth living without them but even though it seems like it won’t get better, in the end, it will only make you stronger and God will be right next to you. You’re still on this earth because God has something in store for you. Lean on God, and He will take care of you.

Post finished with the help of my friends and family. Thank you.
